About Ike Behar Silk Ties
Cuban born Ike Behar learned his craft from his father in pre-revolution Cuba. After leaving Cuba, Ike Behar came to the U.S. with the dream of becoming a custom shirt maker in the U.S. In 1982, Ralph Lauren took notice and asked Ike Behar to help expand his shirt line. Recently, this premier dress shirt manufacturer outfitted the cast of Oceans Thirthteen.
When Ike Behar wanted to expand his shirt busienss, the necktie was most natural step. Ike Behar silk ties quickly rose in popularity because his neckwear brought the art of the tie to new heights.
