Congratulations, you
have decided to get married and you're just getting to the necktie
selection part. How do you go about this.
We want
to guide you through the process.
Quantities
Are Limited
Necktie
designers never supply multiple quantities
Most retailers, like ourselves, major department stores, and boutiques
rarely ever receive large quantities of the same styles and colors.
The reason for this is what doesn't sell ends up back at the
manufacturer who in the end, simply takes a loss.
Manufacturers know this and typically supply retailers only a few of the
same styles or colors...Sometimes as little as only 2 to 4 of each
style. Visit any large department store and you can quickly see
the limited quantity of each style and color.
Exceptions
Solid colors are always in vogue and therefore, a solid color or tonal
style is generally more readily available in quantities of 2 or more and
at times can easily be re-ordered.
If you see a necktie style we currently have in stock, let us know and
we will make every attempt to special order it for you but please keep
in mind, some necktie manufacturers simply have no reserve stock and
therefore, not everything you see can be re-ordered.

Coordinate
- Don't Match
That's right, coordinate. Everyone thinks that matching the color
of a man's necktie to the bridesmaid dresses looks so... well...
coordinated. The
reality is, when the necktie colors match, it takes away from the
elegance of the affair and the result is more Disney and less elegance.
To achieve
the elegant look
Our advice is to compliment the bridesmaid
dresses, don't match, and the resulting look will be absolute elegance,
and with a coordinated look, your wedding photos will Pop! with the wow
factor that everyone looks for.
Think
about it this way... When you wear a tuxedo, and your tie is black
satin, does that match the bridesmaid dresses? - no - but does that
contrast look elegant? - Yes!
Shop
Early - But Not Too Early
Start
shopping 3 months before the wedding
If you shop too early the colors you may be looking for may be out of
season and therefore not be available in stock. Additionally, if
you shop too early, by the time you are ready to use the neckties, if
you change your mind about how many you need, you might not be able to
find additional quantities.
Allow time for special orders
Every year we get hundreds of requests to special order neckties and
unrealistically, everyone needs them by the end of the week.
Special orders take about 2 weeks when the necktie style or color is
still in production. The total turnaround time is more like 30
days until they are in your hands. For certain necktie styles, it
could take as long as 45 days just to have them produced, shipped to us,
and for us to inspect them and send them out to you.
